This trek starts from the Nomadic headquarter (Korzok village) near the Tsomoriri Lake around 240 Km. from Leh. It heads towards south-east along the lake and then turns towards south and walk along the Parangchu river.Crossing the Parang-la pass, walking on the Glacier for 03 hours, you enter Spiti valley. The trek finishes at Kibber village and then drives to Kaza the headquarter of Spiti.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
You arrive in Delhi by International flight. After a traditional 'Swagat'(Welcome) our representative would assist you at the airport and to our hotel for check-in. After some rest, breakfast at coffee shop in the Hotel.After breakfast we will go on a guided tour of Delhi at 1100 hrs, beginning with a morning sightseeing trip to Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat followed by the drive around India Gate and President's House. In the afternoon visit to Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, Mahavir Ahinsa Sthal and Chhatarpur temple. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Leh ( BY 9W-609) Dep: 0645hrs / Arr: 0800hrs
Early morning transfer to Airport to connect the flight for Leh. Upon arrival at Leh Airport our representative would assist you at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Check in to the hotel. Complete rest for the day after welcome tea and coffee at the hotel. Post lunch, a walk around Leh town includes a visit to Leh Market, Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa & Sankar monastery. Later on time back to hotel for Overnight stay.
Day 03: Leh
After breakfast proceed for Indus Valley monastery tour. We start with a visit to Shey, the ancient capital of Ladakh. The monastery here has a huge gold-gilded statue of Buddha Sakyamuni with a large silver lamp burning in front of the statue. Then we visit Thiksey Gompa, an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village. The monastery has a beautiful 30 m high gold-plated statue of Maitreya Buddha, the Buddha of the future. Drive further to visit the famous Hemis Gompa, founded in 1630's by Stag-tsang-ras-pa under the royal patronage of Sengge Namgyall. Hemis is one of the largest and richest gompas of Ladakh. The two-day festival of monastic dance in June-July has raised the reputation of Hemis particularly high. The festival is dedicated to Guru Padmasambhava, popularly known as second Buddha and responsible for spreading Buddhism in the Tibetan world. Later we visit the Stok Palace, the Royal residence of the King of Stok & the Museum that has a rich collection of Ancient Ladakhi artefacts including old Thangkas, precious stones, arms and armoury, the Queen's necklace and the crown of the King of Ladakh among others. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
Day 04: Leh - Chumathang - Tsomoriri (240 Kms)
Leave in the morning and drive to Chumathang stop at Upshi for check point.Chumathang is famous for medical hot spring and & people visit to this place for medical bath. On the way visit Sumdah village and another 55 km.Drive will take you to Tsomoriri. The Lake is breeding grounds for numerous species of birds. Chief among them are the bar headed goose, found in great numbers, crested grebe, the Brahmin duck (ruddy sheldrake) and the brown headed gull. The Lake is 8 Km. Wide and 28 Km long. Overnight in tents.
Day 05: Korzok to Kyangdam (4595 M) - 05 Hrs
Today it is an easy trek along the Lake towards southeast. The campsite is just at the end or the Lake.
Day 06: Kyangdam to Skitpodangsa (4563 M) 04-05 Hrs
As soon as you leave Kyangdam, cross the river and walk towards eastthrough a plain ground. After 02 hours of walk you will see a spring (Chumik Sharte), trek to the same direction leaving Nurboo Sumdo campsite behind,and the Skitpodangsa is just across the river. Overnight camp.
Day 07: Skitpodangsa to Getpabuzak (4600 M) 05 Hrs
Today it is again an easy walk along the Parangchu to the south. Thecampsite is just before the slopes. Overnight camp.
Day 08: Getpabuzak to Tarangyokma (4731 M) 04-05 Hrs
Trek towards the same direction passing through several slopes. You reach the campsite after crossing the tributaries coming from the east. Overnight camp.
Day 09: Tarangyokma to Karsha Gompa (4900 M) or Parang La Base (Bubnen)(5089 M) 03-04 Hrs
Today it is an easy walk. Walk to the same direction till a huge rock from where you have to cross the river to the right. If you are in a big group camp across the river, otherwise walk ahead to the base of Parang La.Overnight camp.
Day 10: Tarangyokma to Takkarzong (4850 M)
Today you have to cross the Parang-La pass through the glacier. Walk form right side of the glacier (your left) through the foothill till the crevasses becomes very narrow or finishes, and then walk towards south to the top of the pass. The pass has prayer flags and an other side is dry and very steep down. The campsite is near a huge rock with waterfalls from it.But in end of September and October water dries up, therefore you have to carry water from the Parang base.
Day 11: Takkarzong to Thagltak (4500 M) 04-05 Hrs
Walk down to the river (It is also called Parangchu) and walk towards east along the river through a narrow gorge. Thagltak is reached after crossing the river and a steep ascent towards south. The campsite is up the hill,which has spring water at the campsite.
Day 12: Thagltak to Kibber 03 Hrs
Walk towards east and you can have the view of Kibber village just after a small pass across the river. The walk from Kibber to Key takes around one and half hours. Overnight at camp.
Day 13: Kibber - Key Gompa - Kaza ( 3600m)
An early morning drive to Kee gompa 8 km, which is situated on a small hill. Drive to Kaza check in to hotel.
Day 14: Kaza
Visit Dankhar monastery old capital of Spiti valley, Tabo monastery built in 996 AD, known as Ajanta of Himalaya, Lalung monastery and Kungri monastery in Pin valley. Evening drive back to Kaza.
Day 15: Kaza - Manali (1'950 mtrs )
An early start for a spectacular jeep ride to Manali via the Kunzum la pass( 4'551 m ) and Rohtang la ( 3'978 m )Passes. En-route magnificent view of numerous peaks of C.B. ranges CB 13, CB 14 far at Kunzom La, Shigri Parbat, Pinnacle, Kullu Pumori, White Sail, Bara Shigri Glacier (12 km long glacier)at Upper Chandra valley. From Rohtang Gephang Goh, Hanuman Tibba. We arrive in Manali about 6 pm after a long dusty day on the road.
Day 16: Manali S/S
Breathe in the fresh mountain air of Manali, the most famous hill resort in Himachal Pradesh. the pine covered slopes, the panoramic mountain vistas, the gushing waters of the Beas river are sure to enthrall you as you embark on a tour of Naggar Castle, Roerich's Art gallery, Hadimba Devi Temple, Tibetan Monastery. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 17: Manali - Delhi (554 Km. / 12hrs approx.)
After an early breakfast we drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi check-in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 18: Delhi
After breakfast time at leisure. Afternoon we depart for Red Fort In Old Delhi, you may visit the ramparts of the Red Fort. The decision for constructing the fort was taken in 1639, when Shah Jahan decided to shift his capital to New Delhi from Agra. Within eight years, Shahjahanabad was completed with the Red Fort-Qila-i-Mubarak (fortunate citadel)-New Delhi's seventh fort, ready in all its magnificence to receive the Emperor. The Red Fort still retains some of its lost glory. The Red Fort was the last fort built in New Delhi and it witnessed the vicissitudes of fortune, the splendour and the fall of the Mughals, British rule, and finally the dawn of Indian Independence. After visiting Red Fort we drive back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 19: Depart Delhi
