Hotel Umaid Bhawan Palace is a gleaming palace made of golden yellow sandstone. Designed by the famous Edwardian architect Henry Lanchester, it has a bird's eye view of the town of Jodhpur from its location on top of the Chittar Hill.

Maharani Suite originally the residence of the Maharani of Jodhpur, has a Norblin mural of the Goddess Kali, etched on black glass. Pink, black, chrome and mirror make this a mesmerising suite of rooms. It has a stunning view of the Mehrangarh Fort and the Palace Gardens. The suite's bath is made of pink Italian marble, from a single piece carved by Norblin.
